Refund, Cancellation and Auto-Release Policy
When bookings can be cancelled, when refunds may apply, and when payment may release automatically.
Before payment is secured
A customer may cancel a booking before escrow is funded unless a separate promoted notice, verification fee, or other non-refundable operational fee applies.
A worker should not claim cancellation compensation for work that has not started unless a clearly disclosed booking rule applies.
After payment is secured
After escrow is funded, cancellation depends on worker acceptance, job timing, evidence, travel or preparation costs, and whether either party breached platform rules.
SureWorkers may request evidence before deciding whether to refund, release, split, or hold funds for further review.
Auto-release
When a worker completes a job and the customer does not open a valid dispute within the inspection period, payment may automatically release to the worker wallet.
Auto-release rules should be visible before booking confirmation and may vary for milestones, high-risk jobs, or special categories.
Non-refundable items
Promoted notice fees, verification fees, subscription fees, payout processing fees, or other administrative fees may be non-refundable if disclosed before purchase.
SureWorkers should not hide fees. The user should see the relevant charge before confirming the transaction.
