Worker verification before going live
Workers should complete required onboarding and verification before their profiles go live to customers. Verification may include phone, WhatsApp, BVN/NIN, selfie/liveness, service details, and payout account ownership.
SureWorkers may reject, pause, or manually review a profile where identity, documents, selfie, account ownership, service information, or fraud signals are unclear.
Personal payout accounts
Before a worker withdraws to a personal bank account, SureWorkers may verify BVN or NIN details and compare the bank account name with the verified legal name.
Withdrawals to accounts not controlled by the worker should be blocked or manually reviewed.
Business payout accounts
If a worker wants to withdraw into a business bank account, SureWorkers may request CAC details, company type, ownership information, and authority to receive payments into that business account.
KYB is for business payout approval. It is not a separate SureWorkers role.
Customer checks
Customers may need phone, WhatsApp, identity, or risk checks for high-value bookings, repeated disputes, suspicious activity, or safety-sensitive jobs.
Verification status may influence trust score, booking limits, payout review, dispute treatment, and platform access.
